Did you know that it's Orcières in 1967 who conceived the first kindergarten ? And that it's still in Orcières in 1970 that the formula of "Cartable à la neige" has emerged ? The station has always been a pioneer in the field of childcare and family... Orcieres 1850 have embraced the 'Family Friendly' label by recognising the needs of young and old alike, creating a family friendly ambiance and providing skiing for all levels. And so that the whole family can enjoy the pistes, Orcieres is the only resort to offer three telemixes (a mixture of chairs and cable cars on the same lift - great for non-skiers or little ones too small for the chairlifts). Children will also have fun on the two fun slopes.
