Let’s take a quick tour of the new ‘chic’ spots in French ski resorts this winter.

Time for something different?

For an atmosphere ‘under the stars’, the Chéry Dôme in Les Gets offers a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc massif. Would you rather cocoon in resort?

In Val Thorens, the Hotel Marielle **** opens its doors, dedicated to the ski racing champion Marielle Goitschel. Crossing France to the Hautes-Pyrénées, more precisely to Peyragudes, discover the new Mercure Peyragudes-Loudenvielle-Pyrénées Hotel. Others new properties to look out for include the chalet hotel le Mont Blanc **** in Val d'Isère, the Hotel Mont-Blanc & Spa by Sowell in Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc, the Alpen Lodge hotel in La Rosière and Hotel Le Lodji in Saint Martin de Belleville.

What about ‘residences’?

As for the apartment complexes in French ski resorts, look out for the partial opening of the Monde des Neiges ***** in Auron, the Antares ***** residence in Méribel, Le Pilatus *** in Courchevel (an apart-hotel), the MMV Etoile des Sybelles residence in Le Corbier, an MMV club hotel in Plagne Aime 2000, the Goélia ‘Les Chalets des Pistes’ residence in Combloux, the Sky and Alpen Lodge residences in La Rosière and the Odalys Rochebrune 2 residence in Orcières.

Also watch out for the new Club Med in La Rosière, which opens with 400 rooms with 4 tridents.
