The fantastic world of the mountains sets your imagination free. It’s easy to dream of sitting on your chalet balcony, hot chocolate in hand, gazing at the peaks around you as the snow falls. Your ski resort accommodation can be a true hideaway and a chance to be cocooned in comfort with stylish design and the friendly hosts.
Let’s take a quick tour of the new ‘chic’ spots in French ski resorts this winter.
Time for something different?
For an atmosphere ‘under the stars’, the Chéry Dôme in Les Gets offers a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc massif. Unique accommodation par excellence, this is an original and timeless experience to enjoy during your stay. Accommodating two to four people, the Chéry Dôme has all the comforts of a ‘real’ room, but also a natural side (from €185 per night for 2 people with breakfast).
In Gérardmer in Vosges, try some new eco-accommodation in the heart of nature. Completely energy self-sufficient, these two mini-houses and geodesic domes in the heart of the Hautes-Vosges forest, have been specifically designed for sustainable tourism. With a capacity of two to four people for the mini-houses, the location and design will delight young and old alike (from €70 per night).
