LA ROSIERE

Perched at 1850m altitude, just a fex minutes from Italy, La Rosière is considered a precious pearl of the Haute Tarentaise Valley.

On the snowfronts or from your accommodation, you will find yourself on the balcony of the Tarentaise, with a fully south facing view spanning more than 180°. Enjoy the sunsets and the resourcing light.

Its Franco-Italian ski area. The Espace San Bernardo, unique in the northern Alps, since 1984 it links La Rosière with La Thuile (Italy). A journey to discover on skis, bringing you new panoramic views and a similar culture which, at the same time is so different.

During winter of 2018, la Rosière-Espace San Bernardo area accumulated more than 11m of snow. Only a few kilometers as the crow flies from the Mont Blanc and the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, the resort benefits from favourable weather conditions which guarantee an excellent snowfall from mid-December until mid-April and makes it one of the resorts with the highest snowfall in the northern Alps.

La Rosière - Espace San Bernardo ski area has opened in december 2018 a new sector : the Mont Valaisan. You have the opportunity to discover a more technical ski area with more freeride possibilities.

La Rosière in the summer is a fully south facing jewel where peace and comfort reign. It’s a real base camp for spreading out and discovering the wonders of the Haute-Tarentaise valley and the Aoste Valley in Italy. It’s the opportunity to take the Skyway and climb 3500m in altitude and rub shoulders with the Mont Blanc, to try out mountain biking or electric bikes on the marked trails in La Rosière, to take flight with a paraglider over the valley, to enjoy the Dolce Vita in our new wellness center, to hit the ball on the highest 9 hole golf course in Europe or to refresh yourself with some white water rafting on the Isère river.
