2022 News and events

Craving the ski season? You’re not alone! We loved the hot weather this summer, but how refreshing is it to think about skiing and snowy landscapes?
We hope you look forward to your first ski runs, tucking into après ski activities with your friends and enjoying the cosy mountain atmosphere this winter. Discover opening dates of ski resorts in France for the 2022/2023 ski season below

This year, Les 2 Alpes kicks off the winter season with skiing offered on top of its glacier from 15th to 16th October and during half term from 22nd October to 6th November (depending on snow). Val Thorens opens its doors during its Grande Première on 19th November, alongside Chamonix’s les Grands Montets. Expect many more resorts to open from end of November to beginning of December. All stations will welcome visitors and be fully open from the beginning on the Christmas holidays, on 17th December.
