Why wait for winter to experience the pleasures of mountain sports?  In numerous mountain stations, summer luge tracks allow you experience the thrill even in the heat of summer!  For years, luge has been a must for summer holidays in the mountains, an experience that will remain engraved in your memory long after it is over.  The tracks, which can be banked bobsleigh tracks or rails, are several hundred metres long ; winding down steep or gentle slopes.  A descent takes several minutes, and adventurous riders can reach speeds of up to 40 km per hour.  The raised turns, waves and spirals will set your heart racing.  Lose yourself in the rhythm as you race over the terrain at high speed, while controlling the luge with an built-in brake.

Summer luge is a wonderful family activity.  Parents and kids alike go wild for the adrenaline-inducing excitement of the descent.  Luge is a very safe activity, with strict guidelines which must be followed.  Helmets are recommended for adults and children.  Kids of 1m25 can take the reins themselves, the little ones (3 years and up) can enjoy the luge accompanied by an adult.  A great family activity, luge is also economical, costing under 5 euros per descent.  Don’t miss out!
