Boost your creativity by co-working

Already well-established in large cities, co-working spaces are starting to appear in ski resorts. Whether you want to find a space where you can concentrate during your holiday or you simply want an alternative to your apartment, with the bonus of an excellent Internet connection, an increasing number of co-working spaces await. In Val d'Isère, head to Centre de Congrès Henri Oreiller, at the foot of the mythical Face de Bellevarde piste, and settle in to your new office, opposite the resort. This co-working space also has a relaxation area to take a short break in the superb surroundings.

Co-working space in Val d'Isère

Discover the appeal of a ‘workation’ in the Pyrénées, the Thiers Lieux association in Bigorre offers a well-connected and quiet space at Tourmalet Pic du Midi. While in Saint Lary Soulan, fully-equipped and connected workspaces are available in the heart of the village, allowing you to host meetings direct from the mountain if required.

For an ultra-stylish and comfortable co-working space in the mountains, head to Les Gets to discover ‘La Casa Co-working’. Created by Pacôme Schmitt, a former top athlete, the location has been designed purely to combine work and comfort in its seven available offices. It’s the same situation in the ‘Wanderful Chalet’, on the edge of the forest in Arcs 1600. Pick from a selection of work spaces that are equipped with printer, Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and, most importantly, the mountain on your doorstop when you need a break.

Other shared workplaces are being created all the time like ‘Le Chosa’ in Les Contamines Montjoie, located in the center of the village, ‘Le Pêle’ in La Clusaz with its 20 workstations, and also in Crest-Voland/Cohennoz in the Val d'Arly .

You can also find free Wi-Fi points in Peyragudes, Montclar, Chabanon and Oz 3300.

Do your team building in the mountains

When we work from home, it can be easy to feel cut off without the social glue that binds us together in the office. Why not try out a team building session in a ski resort and promote that  interaction within your team? In Val d'Isère, the Club des Sports organises ski races especially for seminar or team building groups. During a run, imagine you’re Dave Ryding when you race against your colleagues.

Or for a challenging and spectacular experience, visit the ‘compagnie des guides’ in Saint-Gervais. Bond with your co-workers while you take part in heart-thumping activities such as ice climbing or bungee jumping.
