2)    Mountain nature will awaken your senses.It is always enchanting to discover tracks, glimpse a chamois, smell the fir trees during a walk in the forest or listen to the sound of a torrent.

3)    The mountains will awaken your ecological conscience as they inspire respect, and put man in his place.You will become aware of the fragile balance of nature and with such close contact will want to preserve it.

4)    You will give your morale a boost.In the mountains, you release serotonin more easily - a hormone which enables you to fight anxiety and stress.

5)    You will feel healthier for the year.The air is dryer and dust mites - which cause allergies and respiratory problems - develop more slowly.Straight away, you will breathe better in the pure mountain air.  You will also fill up on vitamin D thanks to the sun.

6)    The mountains invite you to try varied activities from relaxation to sport.You will get out and exercise, which is good for your body.You can live following nature’s rhythm, with your activities changing along with the seasons.

7)    Simple pleasures in the mountains are the best.There is nothing like a cup of tea or hot chocolate in front of a roaring fire after a day's skiing. You will enjoy sharing breakfast as a family before a day spent hiking or skiing.You’ll be happy to put on a warm coat or a fluffy woollen jumper before going out in the middle of winter.

8)    Holidays in the mountains stop time.You will happily forget your watch and enjoy seeing time going gently past - a good recipe for happiness.

9)    You will strengthen your body and become more tolerant of physical exercise.Above 2000 m, oxygen is scarcer, so the body makes more red blood cells, muscles are oxygenated and your organs work more easily.

10)  You will never forget the strength of the mountain landscape.  You will keep these memories with you all year round, and will want to go back.  That’s the call of the mountains!
