September, back to school, shorter days, back to the office... Stop! Autumn can also bring its share of surprises, especially in the mountains. With cooler days and the colors that grace the peaks, it's an ideal time for an invigorating change of scenery in the mountains.
Here are a few ideas for outings this autumn in our French resorts.
The Hautes-Vosges green route
Why not take advantage of the milder autumn weather to explore the Hautes-Vosges in complete peace and quiet? Explore the gentle Vosges countryside around Saint Maurice sur Moselle on 2 wheels. A 53 km greenway has been laid out to take full advantage of the natural surroundings and immerse yourself in the extensive forests of the Hautes-Vosges. There's also a bike route to the resort of La Bresse, so get on your bikes!

Admire the autumn colors at Chamrousse Panoramic Park (Isère)

As the leaves on the trees begin to take on a more orange hue, it's the perfect time to take a walk in the mountains. Take the Chamrousse gondola up to La Croix to discover the resort's brand-new Panoramic Park. At the top, you'll find a year-round pedestrian trail, 3 belvederes with panoramic views of the mountains and Grenoble Valley, and a Himalayan footbridge over the Casserousse couloir.

Experience the thrill of tobogganing at Super Besse (Auvergne)

In the Auvergne, in the Sancy massif, head for the Super Besse resort to get on board the summer toboggan (accessible in autumn, of course!).
