In winter

In Savoie, in the heart of the Maurienne valley, at an altitude of 1800m, La Toussuire is the highest gateway to the Sybelles ski area (4th French ski area). The resort is located on a plateau, in the heart of an exceptional natural space, open at 360 ° to an omnipresent blue sky, a constant sun and the surrounding mountains. La Toussuire is linked by the Pointe de l'Ouillon to the five other resorts of Les Sybelles for a ski area over 393ha, 136 slopes, 7 summits, 1 preserved glacier and no less than 21 play areas allowing the practice of board sports. The ski area is easily and directly accessible thanks to the departures of the 7 chairlifts located on our fan-shaped snow front. 2 play areas are accessible directly from our resort: * Le Chaput play area, at the start of the chairlift of the same name: games for children, picnic tables, dry toilets and zip line. * Snowpy Mountain, accessible to skiers from La Tête de Bellard chairlift: fun track, mini-kilometer launched, relaxation area with hammocks, swings, wooden shelters, dry toilets, picnic tables ... La Toussuire is located 20 minutes from the motorway exit or Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne / Arvan international train station, ensuring a quick and convenient ascent to the resort. The location of our human size resort on a single altitude guarantees pedestrian access to all shops and services. Everything is within easy reach or, when you are too tired, within reach by shuttles (free, of course) which serve all accommodation on two lines. The Animation service offers you all kinds of theme weeks, events and après-ski programs to liven up your moments in the resort.

In summer

In Savoie, in the Maurienne valley, at an altitude of 1,800m, La Toussuire is ideally located on a plateau open to 360 ° on the surrounding massifs. Enjoying exceptional sunshine, it is an ideal summer resort for practicing sports with the family. In the heart of the "largest cycling area in the world®", close to 11 legendary passes, surrounded by around sixty road routes and around twenty FFC-labeled MTB circuits, La Toussuire offers an ideal space for athletes. The Toussuire plateau opens onto a gentle and accessible mountain that is pleasant to walk on during hikes of a few hours to several days. From the resort or after a brief ascent in the ski lifts, the discovery of the panoramas, the fauna and the flora is immediately present and leads to the four corners of a territory particularly suitable for family practice. . The pastures of our mountains are ideal for trail running. The atypical heritage of the massif constitutes one of the many treasures of the territory. Baroque churches or simple mountain chapels dot the 16 hamlets of the town and can be visited during the seasons. A Chromlec, a semi-circular alignment of 12 standing and semi-buried stones, facing the rising sun is visible under the chapel of Villards. Without forgetting the covered fountain which gave its name to the town of the resort: Fontcouverte.
