In winter
In an exceptional setting at an altitude of 1160m to 1850m the ski area, Le Lioran spreads over 150 hectares. 43 dowhill ski runs, 19 ski lifts. A special beginners zone with 2 moving carpets, one snowpark and night skiing. Other activities : cross country skiing, snowshoe walks to pratice alone or with a guide, ski treks, frozen waterfalls, climbing, ski joëring, indoor ice rink, Plomb du Cantal cable car, sledge "Déval'luge", the Wim Hof® method, yoga, balneotherapy, snakeglisse ... for children : sledge, pony sledge, outdoor fun (trampolines, inflatable structures), skidoo for children, ski kindergarten, nursery...
In summer
Le Lioran offers different activities for everybody, from hikers and sports addicts to families. Le Lioran is the starting point of 300 kms of marked paths situated in the heart of the natural park. The Plomb du Cantal cable car permits to reach the highest peak, where you will discover a panoramic view of the Auvergne volcanoes. Everybody will enjoy the quiet and the beautiful landscapes of the highest volcanoes in Europe. More than 300 kms of marked paths to do by foot, on horseback, by mountain bike, or with donkeys.
