It’s buzzing in the resorts this summer! It’s not just electric mountain biking, all electric activities have become mega popular: scooters, motorbikes, cars... Succumb to temptation and give these new activities a go!
Whether it’s on marked paths, enclosed circuits or along mountain trails, electric transport is all around us now in the mountains. Making it less physical challenging, e-bikes and vehicles mean you can enjoy precious moments as a family, whilst respecting the environment. Discover the mountains in a new way, whatever your age and however sporty you are.
 

Activities

 

4WD scooters
Electrically powered off-road scooters are making their mark on Orcières Merlette! Set off in a small group over the footpaths of Haut-Champsaur and enjoy the perfect family activity. Suitable for children over the age of 12.
 
An odd creature
Méaudre, in the Vercors Massif is home to the electric «beetle»! This 2-7 seater electrically assisted vehicle is a fun, sociable way to get around - give it a go and you’ll never want to stop!
 
E-moto acrobatics
It’s a first! Located in Les Gets, Mountain E-Park has launched a summer version of its winter activities with the E-Park. Beginner’s trials bike sessions and driving lessons are available for budding trials riders on a safe enclosed circuit; a fun, environmentally friendly activity for 2-wheeled acrobats.
 
E-roaming at the heart of the natural heritage
In Samoëns, travel through time on an electric MTB! Marked paths will take you to discover traditional arts and crafts, local architecture, as well as the history of the Haut Giffre valley. And don’t worry about your holiday souvenirs, they’ll fit into the mountain bike paniers. Now there’s an idea…!
 
The MTB places to be
A new route for electric mountain bikes has opened in Les Gets. It’s a great way to get off the beaten track and discover breathtaking views, without losing your breath! Charging stations are located along the route.

Bikelec exhibition
Morzine will host the first international electric bike exhibition from July 7th to 9th. The first event of its kind in Europe, it will be THE place for professionals and cycling fans to get together and look towards the future of the sport.
 
Electric & and Hybrid Vehicle Exhibition
From July 13th to 16th
As part of its campaign to protect the environment, Val d’Isère is keen to promote any initiatives made with regards ecological transport. Bringing together professionals and the general public, the programme comprises 4 days of meetings and discussions based on the theme of electric transport, in a unique setting at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.
