One day, one resort, 5 challenges in teams of three... Only the ESF French Ski School could come up with something like that! Head to Les Arcs on 21st January to be part of the action!

This winter sees the ESF launch the "J D'ENFER" (Day of Hell) in Les Arcs, where skiers over the age of 13 can experience a day of fun, thrills and excitement, with challenges that leave them breathless but smiling.

The «Journée d’Enfer» is a perfect fit with the «new generation» spirit of competition: physical effort and understanding, for maximum enjoyment. Obstacle courses and outdoor activities are classic examples of this, and the ESF fits perfectly into this context.

The challenges:

This friendly sporting event allows skiers to discover Les Arcs’ ski area and go head to head in various sporting disciplines. To be ranked in the overall classification, participants need to take part in each event from the start, on skis or snowboard. The rally style event takes place on the ski area, with checkpoints to validate the vertical drop.

RALLY ACROSS THE SKI AREA
Achieve the greatest vertical drop possible on the ski area throughout the day’s events.

GIANT SLALOM
Timed giant slalom, based on the ESF marking scale.

FLYING KILOMETRE
Reach the highest speed on a straight run.

SKICROSS

Teams will enjoy the friendly atmosphere and free breakfast before the race starts, as well as lunch at l'Arpette restaurant!
