Summer skiing
Skiers, put your t-shirts on!

In France, you can ski even in summer ! On the Alpine glaciers, the chairlifts and the pistes are open for a good part of the summer, offering insatiable skiers the possibility to enjoy their favourite sport in a unique ambiance. Skiers, put your t-shirts on!
Contrary to popular belief, there is no reason to forget about the pleasures of skiing after April. The glaciers of Deux Alpes, Tignes and Val d’Isère welcome skiers well into the summer, offering an exciting contrast between a summer vacation ambiance and a well-loved « winter » sport. From early morning until early afternoon, skiers can ski to their hearts’ content, over freshly groomed snow that becomes softer and more enjoyable with each passing hour. Summer skiing on the French glaciers offers other pleasures as well…drinks on the terrace under the summer sun, and a festive ambiance with a wide choice of events, concerts and DJs.
Aside from dedicated skiers who live for the slopes, and those who prefer perfecting their tans on the terrace, freestylers will find their paradise in the lively snowparks filled with music, events and activities. In the afternoon, when the slopes have closed, the party is only just beginning. The stations are alive with fun summer activities.
