    Where can you see marmots this summer in France?

    One of the most photogenic animals, the marmot lives in the French Alps (Vanoise, Écrins, Vercors, Queyras, Mercantour…), the Pyrénées, the Massif Central, the Vosges and the Jura. Here are some ideas for walks where you are almost sure to see them up quite close. Binoculars will, however, let you observe without disturbing them. The best times are when they eat, early in the morning and at the end of the day.

    New in the Alps : a spa specially for children

    It was a real hit at the Hameau de Pierre Blanche (Les Houches) and this winter, the CGH hotel group will roll out its trendy new concept - a spa specially for children – across all 15 of its Alpine residences. Every Wednesday, the spa will be reserved for six to 16 year olds, by appointment. Dorothy Bouteillec, director of Spas & Beauté Montagne, has developed some very special treatments with help from After the Rain, a Swiss cosmetics brand.
